Mount Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa with an altitude of 5,895 m above sea level, and an elevation of 4,877 m from its base. While there are three volcanic cones, dormant for 448,000 years, it is its peak, “Uhuru Peak”, along the Kibo crater, which is the destination of ascents.

Ascents last from 5 to 10 days depending on the level of difficulty of the routes and the time reserved for acclimatization. Most of them pass through magnificent landscapes of moors, forests, rocks and snow and ice to the summit that opens, early in the morning and on a clear day, to a breathtaking view of the vast African savannah of tens of kilometres around.
