Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is a conservation area located between an escarpment of the Rift Valley and the namesake soda lake. This lacustrine ecosystem of forests is the backdrop to close encounters with elephants accustomed to 4×4 vehicles, as well as giraffes, buffalo and a variety of antelopes who are attracted to the water sources.

This park is an ideal stopover point between Tarangire further south and Ngorongoro Crater to the north.
