Arusha

Arusha, which is also known as the capital of northern Tanzanian safaris, is a pleasant town of 400,000 cosmopolitan habitants, located at an altitude of 1,300m.

Although the foundation of the city is due to the Maasai shepherds in the 1830s, Arusha today is an important economic and diplomatic centre. The city is indeed the starting point for safaris in the famous national parks of the Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Tarangire, Manyara, etc.
