The orange dunes of Sossusvlei, the elephants and rhinoceros of the Damaraland desert, the dolphins and seals of Walvis Bay, and the great fauna of the Etosha National Park (plus its private sanctuaries) provide some of the most beautiful landscapes and animal encounters of Namibia.

A safari to immerse yourself in stunning and exciting Namibia!

Day 1: Departure for Namibia

Departure at the end of the afternoon from Europe and night flight to Windhoek via Frankfurt.

Day 2: Windhoek

Arrival at Windhoek International Airport, meet and greet and private transfert to your hotel. Installation in your room and afternoon of relaxation or visit of Windhoek (optional guide).

Lunch (on own account) in town or at the hotel.

Night at Galton House. Bed & Breakfast, dinner included.

Day 3: From Windhoek to Sossusvlei

After your breakfast, meet with your private driver-guide and departure at 08:00am, in your 4×4 safari car, by road over the highlands of Khomas Hochland before driving down the escarpment and entering the Namib Desert.

Picnic lunch en route and arrival mid afternoon at Sossus Dune Lodge.

Installation in your desert chalet and afternoon of relaxation or visit to Sesriem Canyon.

Night at Sossus Dune Lodge. Full board and activities included.

Day 4: Sossusvlei

Early wake up to leave the camp before dawn and to arrive in the Namib Naukluft National Park, in the area of the sand dunes of Sossusvlei, for the beginning of the sunrise.

Exploration of the areas of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei with bush breakfast near the dunes.

Return to the lodge for a late lunch and afternoon of rest and relaxation, or visit to Sesriem Canyon (if it did not take place the previous afternoon).

Night at Sossus Dune Lodge. Full board and activities included.

Day 5: From Sossusvlei to Swakopmund

After breakfast, departure toward the Atlantic Ocean, Walvis Bay and Swakopmund by a road crossing the desert of the Namib Naukluft National Park.

Installation in your centrally located guest room and visit to the town, beach and sea-front in the afternoon.

Dinner in a restaurant located in the town centre, and night in Guest House. Full board.

Day 6: Swakopmund

Early breakfast and departure for Walvis Bay for a morning of sea kayak or motor boat (as per your choice) allowing you to observe at close distance the seals and dophins of the bay, as well as the pelicans, flamingos and numerous other birds. With luck you will also see whales, leatherback turtles and sun fishes.

Return to Swakopmund in the afternoon where you will have a choice between an afternoon of rest and relaxation, a visit to the town or a number of optional activities – including camel rides, sandboarding, scenic flights to discover the coast from the sky, etc.

Dinner in a restaurant located in the town centre, and night in Guest House. Full board and activities included.

Day 7: From Swakopmund to Damaraland

After breakfast, continuation of your safari by the road passing Brandberg, the highest mountain of Namibia with an altitude of 2,573m, and arrival in the Damaraland.

If the arrive is early enough, visit to the site of Twyfelfontein (or this will take place on the following day if time does not allow it).

Arrival at Camp Kipwe for dinner.

Night at Camp Kipwe. Full board and activities included.

Day 8: Damaraland

After an early breakfast, departure for the riverbeds of the Aba Huab and Huab rivers for a game drive – searching for desert-adapted wildlife such as desert elephants, which are primarily active in the morning and late afternoon.

Optional picnic lunch under the trees on the river banks, where desert elephants often come to feed.

Visit to Twyfelfontein (if it did not take place the previous day) and afternoon game drive.

Night at Camp Kipwe. Full board and activities and game drives included.

Day 9: From Damaraland to the South of Etosha National Park

After a very early breakfast, departure for Etosha National Park by a beautiful scenic route passing by Grootberg Pass.

Visit of a Himba village during the morning and picnic lunch.

Arrival at your lodge and installation in your rooms in time for your dinner.

Night at Etosha Mountain Lodge. Full board and activities and game drives included.

Day 10: From the South to the East of Etosha National Park

This day is dedicated to the discovery of the Southern part of Etosha National Park and thereafter to the transfer to the Eastern part of the park with a game-drive, in a 4×4 vehicle, and picnic lunch en route. This day will be a great opportunity for wildlife observation and photography.

Arrival at Ongava Game Reserve during the afternoon.

Night at Onguma Tented Camp. Full board and game drives included.

Day 11: East of Etosha National Park

This day is dedicated to the exploration of Ongava Game Reserve, with wildlife observation and photography via game drives in the morning and the afternoon.

Lunch at the camp.

Night at Onguma Tented Camp. Full board and game drives included.

Day 12: From the East of Etosha national Park to the AfriCat Foundation

After an early breakfast, departure from the sanctuary to go the the AfriCat Foundation centre.

Arrival for lunch and afternoon of game drive on the grounds of the Foundation.

Dinner and night at Okonjima Plains Camp. Full board, activities and game drives included.

Day 13: From the Africat Foundation to Windhoek and departure

Morning of activities and discovery of the Africa Foundation.

Lunch at the lodge and transfer, in the afternoon, to Windhoek International Airport for a flight to your next destination or your return to Europe.
