Rendille

The Rendille are a people whose culture is also closely related to camels because they depend on the “vessels of the desert” for their food and their migration. Camels also carry their belongings and “prefabricated” and portable houses.

The Rendille form a tribe that lives in autonomy, depending only on a few products such as tea and sugar, and not on more general trade. They often make their own utensils and their creativity is expressed through the jewellery and ornaments they handcraft.
