Expedition ship Ocean Nova

The expedition ship Ocean Nova was built in Denmark in 1992 along with its sister ship the M/S Quest, and was completely refurbished in 2006 to serve as an icebreaker. Ocean Nova can accommodate up to 78 passengers in twin or triple cabins, which all have a view of the outside and are equipped with toilets and private shower rooms. All cabins have a chair and a wardrobe for storage of personal items.

The ship has spacious observation decks, which allow passengers to appreciate the stunning panoramas. In the dining room delicious meals are served between landings, and the panoramic lounge allows a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. The ship also has a small library with books and DVDs devoted to polar environments.

Passengers are welcome on the deck at all times as there is always something to see or search for. Ocean Nova is staffed with an international crew and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, which enhances the experience of traveling on a small expedition ship rather than being on a large ocean liner.
