Unguja Lodge

Unguja Lodge is an up market small scale lodge in Kizimkazi on the southern tip of Zanzibar. It is run by its owners who offer you a truly personal Zanzibar experience in a luxurious and relaxed atmosphere.

The common parts include a swimming pool in the middle of the tropical garden, a bar where guests relax after diving or snorkeling, watching dolphins nearby, or while their enjoy their cocktail or the sunset, a library and reading corner as well as an excellent restaurant. Bar snacks are served with sundowners.

Accommodation consists of 12 spacious private bungalows. From their ocean view terrace guests can watch the local fishermen sailing the Indian Ocean. A breathtaking sunrise and sunset is all theirs, and all bungalows are beautifully decorated in Zanzibar style.

All villas offer the following: spacious bedroom with double bed (185 x 215 cm), mosquito net, ceiling fan and private safe, open plan sitting room (baraza-style), open plan spacious shower room, separate toilet, loft with extra double bed and private terrace. The 6 sea view villas all have direct sea view, including a private terrace, directly overlooking the Menai Bay.
