Setam Lodge

Arriving at the Setam Lodge on the edge of the Ranomafana National Park, visitors are impressed by the magnificent views of the mountains and the rainforest. The lodge has been built to make the most of its location so the restaurant has large bays to allow the most panoramic views possible, and all rooms have small terraces facing the valley.

During the warmer months, lunch is served outside to allow guests to enjoy both the view and the fresh air.

The public areas include a main pavilion with bar and restaurant. From here, stone steps lead up to 10 chalets along the hill, each containing two bedrooms with bathrooms. The decor of the rooms is quite simple; as the lodge is built in the middle of the forest, the ceilings, cabinets, desks and beds are all made of pine, and the walls are painted white. The rooms have all amenities for a pleasant stay; they are clean and have heating for the cooler winter months.
