Samburu Intrepids Camp

Samburu Intrepids Camp is located on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the heart of the Samburu National Reserve, where it overlooks the banks where herds of elephants, buffaloes and zebras come to drink every day.

The common areas of the camp include a dining room, a lounge and a bar, a swimming pool, and a garden to relax. There is also a souvenir shop with essential items for a safari.

The main dining room opens onto an outdoor terrace where buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served overlooking the river; meals can also be taken on your private veranda or at one of the ‘bush sites’ that are especially selected near the camp. Buffet lunches and candlelit dinners are served on an elevated terrace among shady trees.

Accommodation consists of 27 modern tents with views of the wildlife-rich riverbanks. Each tent has four-poster beds, fitted wardrobes, a mahogany desk, and a private bathroom with a hot shower and flush toilet. The roofs of the tents are completely covered with thatch, and they are raised on stilts to catch the refreshing breeze coming from the river.
