Lemur Forest Camp

Lemur Forest Camp is located in the heart of the private reserve of Ialatsara, a perfectly preserved tropical rain forest, 84 km from Ambositra. The reserve is known for the six different species of lemurs that live there.

The camp is composed of 10 spacious fixed tents that are equipped with log beds, and have toilet and bathroom. There are also small wooden bungalows that offer greater comfort, and private bathrooms with hot water.

The accommodation is positioned around the main building (with electricity) where meals are served. A convivial table d’hôte proposes family meals made with products from the farm, homemade buns and jams, honey, goat cheese produced on site, etc.

It is a haven of peace for the lovers of authentic ecotourism where, at nightfall, they are immersed in the authentic atmosphere of Malagasy forest, echoing the sounds of the lemurs that pass near the encampment.
