The beauty of Khulu Ivory Lodge is that it combines luxurious and private accommodation with old world hospitality.
Khulu overlooks an ancient riverbed, in today’s terms called a ‘vlei’, and the waterhole in this vlei is known to attract a variety of the greatest wildlife and bird life in Hwange National Park.
Designed for those who are looking for a real escape, Khulu caters for no more than twelve guests at a time. This intimate camp comprises six bespoke thatched safari style chalets-suites built onto platforms. Each suite has an indoor and outdoor shower and a balcony for game viewing.
Khulu’s main area has a full bar, plunge pool, as well as a raised fire pit for stargazing and night caps.
Khulu Ivory offers its guests guided game viewing – on its 6,000 acre private concession and/or in the National Park – visits to the Painted Dog Conservation Centre, plus pan/hide sits.
