Kasenyi Safari Camp is ideally located for exploring the northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and the flora and fauna of the Kasenyi Plains. This mid-range camp consists of buildings of local materials, tents with thatched roofs built on raised decks, and rustic furniture with a decor typical to safari.
The spacious main building combines reception, bar, restaurant, and lounge under one thatched roof. The panoramic terrace with its breathtaking view has a fireplace that is lit every evening. Wi-Fi internet access is complementary, and there is a laundry service.
With only six tents, visitors can enjoy an exclusive and private stay. All bedrooms are fitted with double or twin beds, mosquito nets, bedside table with lamps, sofa and desk. Each has a private bathroom with a large shower, with hot and cold water throughout the day. A large wooden door opens onto the private terrace where you can relax while admiring the view of Lake Bunyampaka.
The camp itself is not fenced, and animals are frequently seen roaming around it day and night, including hippos, buffaloes and even lions, which frequently pass the main lodge. In addition to the usual activities, the camp also offers its visitors night safaris (optional).
