Hotel Feon ‘ny Ala

The Hotel Feon ‘ny Ala is set in a peaceful environment overlooking the river beside the special reserve of Analamazaotra, not far from the entrance of Andasibe National Park. Although simple and rustic, it is one of the nicest lodges in which to stay during a visit to this area.

It offers travellers a restaurant and bar as well as 40 simple but comfortable bungalows. Rooms have mosquito net, private bathroom, and hot and cold water. The area is rich in wildlife and exotic plants, including many rare species found only in Madagascar. One of the main interests of staying at the Feon ‘ny Ala Hotel is to observe and photograph eleven species of lemurs as they leap through the underbrush and swing in the branches of the garden trees, and some days to awaken to the song of the Indri indri.
