Hippo Trails Camp is a new camp located in the central area, or Seronera area, of the Serengeti National Park.
Its location, close to the Retima Hippo Pool, is an excellent starting point for spotting wildlife in the central Serengeti. This camp also offers great flexibility in the organization of game drives, especially for photographic purposes, since it offers picnic breakfasts or picnic lunches to maximize the time spent with the wildlife.
Its 10 large, classic-style canvas tents, raised on wooden platforms, are tastefully decorated, and offer comfortable furniture including a king-size bed or twin beds, a desk, luggage racks, and a seating area with chairs and a coffee table. Lighting is solar powered and the tents have an en-suite shower, a sink, and flush toilets.
The common areas include a large mess tent as well as a lounge tent from where it is possible to admire the landscape and the river, to connect to the internet via complementary wifi, and, in the evening, to gather around the campfire.
