Hammerkop Fly Camp

Hammerkop Fly Camp is located on the Mara River banks inside the Reserve within easy reach of all the best wildebeest crossings, and the Musiara Swamp area.

Hammerkop Fly Camp is a traditional style mobile and seasonal tented safari camp with a small number of tents, each with ensuite bathroom area. This small camp has a private atmosphere and was designed specifically with photographers in mind. The mess tent has a special area for using computers and charging batteries.

A « Photo Tent » is the dedicated area for the use of computers, downloading pictures from memory cards as well as recharding the batteries.

The camp is completely dismantled after each use and the grounds given back to its original inhabitants, the wildlife of the area.
