Dominating the plains of the Serengeti below, Grumeti Hills Camp is an eco-camp that is well located for observing the Great Migration in the western corridor of the Serengeti.
The accommodation consists of 20 tents distributed throughout the property for more privacy. Each spacious canvas-and-thatched-roof tent has a large bedroom with a walk-in closet, a private bathroom – with a sink, flush toilet and solar-heated shower – and a beautiful stone terrace with stunning views.
The main thatched-roof building is located in the centre of the camp, and houses a restaurant, a bar, and a comfortable lounge – all with magnificent views of the savannah. Next to the lobby is a small shop for those wishing to buy souvenirs.
The pool is located at the south end of the property, and is carved into the rocks. It uses an eco-friendly water system to create a refreshing escape from the heat of the day. There is also a massage tent that offers a wonderful view over the plains.
