Fish River Lodge

Fish River Lodge was built in harmony with its austere and spectacular surroundings. Completed in 2009, all the buildings that make up the hotel pay tribute to the incredible scenery, offering spectacular views of the Fish River Canyon from sunrise to sunset.

The common areas include a swimming pool with a large wooden terrace, a crackling fire that warms the interior of the hotel in winter and on some evenings, plus a good restaurant serving terrace lunches and candlelit dinners in the dining room.

The 20 private chalets are dotted on the edge of the canyon. As with the main building, visitors can enjoy an unobstructed view. The beds have been arranged to offer a prime location to admire the view of the majestic canyon when, in the mornings, the sun bathes the landscape with a thousand colours. An outdoor deck allows guests to sleep under the stars on hot nights.
