Estancia Tercera Barranca is part of a family-run 6,500 hectare working estancia just outside the National Park. Foxes, guanacos, and ostriches are some of the many wild animals that visitors can come across on its lands, as well as the pumas that sometimes roam this territory.
The lodge has a remote setting, with excellent views of the Towers to the west, and a warm, friendly, cozy atmosphere. Accommodation is in 7 rustic yet comfortable en-suite rooms located in the guest house, in a small garden adjacent to the main house. There is a lovely fireplace in the gallery/living area, which has comfy seating and huge windows allowing fantastic views.
The restaurant proposes good, home-cooked food, including bread and jams, tasty Chilean specialities, and excellent BBQs and Pisco sours.
