Chimpanzee Forest Guest House is located on a family-run tea plantation near Kibala National Park. It is 500 metres from the entrance to the park, and only 10 km from the tourist centre of the park where hiking with chimpanzees can be organized.
This guest house, which was the former residence of the English commissioner in this region during colonial times, is today a modest but clean and comfortable establishment offering rooms as well as small cottages, all with a beautiful view of the well maintained lawns, the beautiful gardens, and the tea plantations.
The thatched roof cottages are private, with beds and an en-suite shower room and toilet.
Meals are served in the separate dining room, which also offers a comfortable lounge and bar.
