Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge is located close to the National Park, just walking distance from the main gate of the Reserve. The lodge is built with minimum interference in the natural environment of the jungle and is managed on eco-friendly principles. One of the most important aspects of a wildlife experience is the preservation of nature and its habitants, and Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge participates fully in nature conservation activities. Many fruit trees and bushes have been deliberately planted to attract a variety of butterflies and birds. Due to such close proximity to the National Park, Spotted Deer and Langur Monkeys can often be seen around the lodge.
Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge has an open verandah to enable guests to dine under the stars, or to breakfast in the soothing warm winter sun. The dining room is a lovely place to enjoy Indian and continental delicacies, and, in offering great views of the jungle, makes the dining experience especially memorable.
The accommodation has been developed around the theme of an Indian village, with 13 spacious cosy and comfortable independent cottages and 8 rooms in two separate villas – making a total of 21 rooms. They have a real sense of luxury, and offer a comfortable and warm stay. The rooms are single, twin or double bedded, with modern facilities – such as reading lights, a writing table and chairs, and large luggage rack – and an attached bathroom with shower and running hot and cold water. A hot water bottle is provided at night to keep guests warm.
