Day 1: Arrival at Arusha

Arrival at Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet and transfer to Rivertrees Country Lodge for overnight stay. Bed & Breakfast.

Day 2: From Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, leave your lodge for a drive to the Ndutu region in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

This drive will take you to Lake Manyara National Park where you will have your picnic lunch.

Game drive in the afternoon in the park and continuation of your journey to arrive at your lodge in time to enjoy the sunset before dinner.

Night at Lion’s Paw Lodge. Full Board and game drives included.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the caldera for a game drive of 6 hours (maximum permitted).

Picnic in the crater and game drive in the afternoon, before the return to the lodge.

Night at Lion’s Paw Lodge. Full Board and game drives included.

Day 4: From the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, departure from the lodge and drive to the Ndutu region of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the southern area of the Serengeti National Park where the camp is optimally positioned with respect to the progress of the Great Migration.

Picnic lunch and game drives “en route” in the morning and in the afternoon.

Arrival at Serengeti Safari Camp for dinner.

Night at the Serengeti Safari Camp. Full board & game drives included.

Day 5 and day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park

These days will also be dedicated to wildlife viewing and photography with morning and afternoon game drives in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and in the Serengeti National Park.

Day 7: From the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Mahale Mountains National Park

After breakfast, leave your camp and transfer to Ndutu Airstrip where you will board, around 09:00, a chartered flight to Mahale Mountains National Park, in western Tanzania.

Boat transfer to Greystoke Mahale Camp in time for lunch.

Installation in your bandas and afternoon of exploration of the surroundings of the camp or relaxation on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.

Night at the Greystoke Mahale Camp. Full board & activities included.

Day 8 and day 9: Mahale Mountains National Park

These days will be dedicated to wildlife viewing and photography with morning and afternoon activities, such as chimpanzee trekking and canoeing on Lake Tanganyika.

Day 10: From Mahale to the Island of Zanzibar

Breakfast at the camp and boat transfer to Mahale Airstrip.

Scheduled flight leaving Mahale around 10:00 and arriving at Zanzibar approx. at 17:00.

Picnic lunch “en route”.

Arrival at Zanzibar Island where you will be greeted by a representative of the Pongwe Beach Hotel who will drive to you to the hotel.

Night at Pongwe Beach Hotel. Sea View room. Half board & some activities included.

Day 11 to day 14: Island of Zanzibar

These days will be dedicated to resting and relaxing while enjoying the complementary sea-side activities (kayaking, mountain biking, snorkelling)

Day 15: From the Island of Zanzibar to Arusha

You will enjoy the beach and the facilities of the hotel until late morning when you will be driven to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport, from where you will transit to board your place to fly back to Europe.
