This two-week of safari and beach holiday allows you an immersion in the reserves of northern Tanzania and constitutes a superb opportunity to realize all these wishes.

A safari to observe the Tanzanian wildlife at its peak season!

Day 1: Arrival at Arusha

Arrival at Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet and transfer to Rivertrees Country Lodge for the night. Bed & Breakfast.

Day 2: From Arusha to the reserves of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro

After breakfast, departure from your lodge for a drive to the Serengeti National Park and the Ndutu region, part of the broader Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCAA) where your seasonal camp has been set up.

The choice of this area, at that time of the year, ensures that the camp is positioned optimally with respect to the density of wildlife and the pace of the Great Migration.

One additional advantage of the Ndutu region is the possibility of driving off-road in certain circumstances, which facilitates the observation and the photography of the wildlife.

Day 3 to day 6: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

These days on safari are devoted to the observation and photography of the wildlife, the wildebeest migration and births as well as the landscapes.

Night at Nyikani Migration Camp. Full board & game drives in both the Serengeti and the Ndutu area (NCAA) included.

To take advantage of the proximity of the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the days of the program will be dedicated to a safari and game drives in this exceptional area:

After a breakfast before sunrise, departure from the camp and drive by a direct road to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the caldera for a game drive of 6 hours (maximum permitted).

Picnic in the crater and game drive in the afternoon. Return to the camp with game drive “en route”.

Night at Nyikani Migration Camp. Full board & game drives in both the Serengeti and the Ndutu area (NCAA) included.

Day 7: From the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Karatu

Game drive in the morning.

After lunch at the camp, departure and start driving towards the place where you will stay for the night.

Game drive “en route” and arrival at the lodge for the dinner.

Night at the Plantation Lodge. Half board.

Day 8: From Karatu to the beaches and reefs of Zanzibar

Leaving your lodge after breakfast, you will complete your journey to Arusha (2 hours drive) on time to board your direct scheduled flight to Zanzibar Island where you will land at the beginning of the afternoon.

At your arrival at Zanzibar Island you will be greeted by a representative of the Matemwe Lodge who will drive to you to the hotel.

Stay at Matemwe Lodge. Full board.

Day 9 to day 12: Island of Zanzibar

These days will be dedicated to resting and relaxing while enjoying the complementary sea-side activities and the white sandy beaches or the swimming pool.

This is also the time when you can take advantage of the outstanding diving opportunities presented by the northern tip of Zanzibar Island as well as Mnemba Atoll.

Stay at Matemwe Lodge. Full board.

Day 13: From the Island of Zanzibar to Arusha

You will enjoy the beach and the facilities of the lodge till mid-morning when you will be driven to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport, from where you will transit to board your plane to fly back to Europe.

– 5 nights at Nyikani Migration Camp, in a canvas tent with private en-suite bathroom and toilets. Full board

– 1 night at Plantation Lodge (equivalent 3***/4****) in a room with private en-suite bathroom and toilets

– 5 nights on Zanzibar Island at Matemwe Lodge (4****/5*****). Beach chalet with double room with en-suite bathroom and toilets. Full board accommodation. Some activities included.

– Drinks (water, fruit juices, coffee, tea) at the seasonal mobile camp except wines, beer, alcohol, spirits and Champagne
